I appreciate your comment. Unfortunately, immigrant noobies have no idea how bad America can really be. That’s another reason why they get comfortable. The “we’re all immigrants” myth is a self-serving trope that lulls many too sleep.

He should (1) liquidate the business (if possible) and put the proceeds in a trust for his kids. A trustee, who is not their mother, should be appointed; (2) divorce her.

Disbursement and collection work is done by contractors. It’s the kind of work that is relatively “simple” to contract out, but is poorly assessed.
