I agree with Stacey that they should definitely get rid of BET, not for her stupid reasons, but because it sucks. Or at least it did when I last watched it 10+ years ago. That sounds right but lots of people say this like they are “cancer free” or “no longer have cancer”. Anecdotally, my grandma got breast cancer in the 1970s, got rid of it and it has never come back anywhere in her body. I would say she does not have cancer.

Doesn’t “I don’t have cancer” immediately followed up with “I’m recovering” sound like you *had*cancer though? Am I the only one who reads it that way?
