I hear you! As a dad gamer with a full-time job I get like an hour a day max for gaming. Any game that requires me to “git gud” or promises to be infuriating is off the table.

I really want to try it but probably wont given how Souls and Bloodborne tested my patience way too quickly for a game. Just don’t have time for that these days

My take on the driving bit was that, for me, it was an answer to a question I never asked or would want to: “What does it feel like to use gas and brake pedals with your hands?” All that finger-resistance just to accelerate or stop did not sit well with my brain for some reason.

I tried the demo, and the adaptive triggers are great for the guns, but the way they’re used for the driving makes no sense. It makes smooth acceleration nearly impossible. And since you can’t turn them on just for shooting, I wound up just disabling them all together.

I am literally in the same boat. Bowser’s Fury was fun. But aside from that and Good Job everything else I have enjoyed, like Hades or Dead Cells have been multiplat anyway. Steam Deck I think is where it will be at for me, whenever there is enough availability in the far flung future that I can buy it on Amazon.
