Signing up for Sony Direct was obviously the right choice for me. Apps and twitter feeds have worked for many but I don’t have time to look at my phone when alerts come in (at work or at home). Wouldn’t have helped me at all.

I FINALLY got a PS5. I gave up on the restocks cause they are horseshit. So last spring I made sure I registered at Sony Direct and 5 months later I was sent the email to finally purchase one. WAY easier than doing those dumbass restock chasing twitter feeds!
