The reason why Lochte’s lying isn’t trivial, even if, or especially if, Rio’s criminal justice system is corrupt, like, say, Chicago’s, is that when prominent celebrities report being victims of a violent crime, an embarassed police force can often decide to make a collar, without such niceties as having found the…
There were apparently no security cameras to capture any of these events, whereas the gas station, a business with an actual address, had security cameras.
Anything else you’d like explained?
On the next episode of Lochted Up: Abroad ....
Holy shit, Americans suck.
I’m not that STRONG a swimmer.
Haters gonna hate, but I respect any Olympic athlete. Except those horse riding fuckers.
Point is that the only thing making you safe is the lack of people interested in attacking airports.
Unless there’s a shadow organization that somehow no one has ever heard of taking down would-be terrorists, the only reason we haven’t had another 9/11 is that very few people have bothered to try, and those who have…
People panic when they don’t know what to do. Training is so that they know what to do. I’d be very curious to see where all that “TSA tax money” actually ended up.

Funny thing is it doesn't make me feel safe. Standing in a slow moving line with 1-3,000 people makes me feel like more of a target than boarding a plane with no security.
I wouldn’t blame anyone for bolting for the cash and the chance to compete. These windows athletes have are small.
By the 12th game they’ll be so close to elimination that no one will kare.
That’s a good thing, though. A smooth transition of merging cars is the best-case scenario for reducing traffic. If everyone has to brake to let cars in, then it slows down traffic for everyone behind them. Obviously, the person doing the braking might be a dick and not care, but there’s inevitably another dick ahead…
All pilots are trained not with flight simulators but by listening to Pink Floyd and Tom Petty’s “Learning to Fly”
♫ Cause you know I’d shoot a thousand shots if I could just make one tonight. ♫
To be fair, 1000 miles, if taken literally by the pilot, could lead to a landing in the Gulf of Mexico.
