I’m a fan of slow-burn atmospheric horror, but this movie felt half-baked at best. I’m also not sure how many horror movies need to be made that are clunky allegories for dementia/alzheimers. I was excited for this one, but it was disappointing.
Why does the “head” not have a black outline?
Because they’ve spent all their young lives playing video games and have no personality or identity beyond it, so they emulate what they’ve seen in media (buy big tacky shit).
It kind of sucks that none of them seem to have any adults in their lives that were able to talk them out of doing something this stupid.
I mean, these kid’s personalities all boil down to “video games”, so I’m not surprised that their rooms are decorated to look good on a stream cam where 12 year olds can see generic video game related “artwork” and... candy. And PC’s that glow.
Influencer “clothing lines” always just consist of generic hoodies.
And only one of them even looks remotely fuckable (the only one that spent a few bucks on a haircut). Also any adult would be able to look at this and realize immediately that it isn’t sustainable.
And by “One of a Kind” you mean the game that lifted its entire premise from the popular “.hack//” franchise, except made with RPG Maker?
I had no idea there was even a Watch Dogs 2.
Quite ugly. Less is more people.
You’re right, it wasn’t very funny. At least it’s consistently bland?
