Bugs saw Neo jump, and when she was later pulled out of the Matrix, she remembered seeing him, so she knew he was alive. That’s not exactly the justification for pulling him out, but it seemed like she kept pulling that thread because she thought something was going on if he was supposed to be dead but was actually

I share your ambivalence of having enjoyed the episode throughout while being acutely aware of each seam. The performances were good but off as you could see the dialogue doing breakneck delivery of resolution. The comedy was forced rather than feeling well-timed as in previous episodes making it feel out of place.

Simulatte is clever. I’ll give ‘em that.

He probably watched the news 2016-2020 and realized if he does as much illegal shit as he can they’ll be too confused to arrest him.

I liked it. I’m kind of surprised by some of the mixed and negative reactions.

Not a cheap shot. That interview implies one reason Lana made the movie, but the movie itself (by this reviewer’s read of it) implies a different reason.

And Resurrections implies that the only reason Lana came back for a fourth movie was that Warner Bros. would have done it with or without her participation.”

The problem with historical witch hunts was that witches aren’t real. But rapists are real.

Using the word “lynching” to describe any of this is just straight-up ahistorical hate speech. Fuck you.

If he’s innocent and it’s proven that four separate women independently came forward to accuse him of sexual assault falsely, he will have lost some work that he can almost certainly recoup once his image is rehabilitated.

lol get fucked

We have no actual motive for either Val or Eleanor wanting to take Clint down just yet

I’m... not sure this actually re-writes anything (as some others here have pointed out) or that it’s any more stable as a narrative reason for Yelena to assume that Clint is responsible for Natasha’s death.

We are probably overthinking it. After all Infinity Stones are the ultimate Deux Ex Machina - they can do whatever you want them to do so if Hulk wanted everyone to come back safely they did and all the extra food needed materialised along with them. And after that the life went on - just like with our pandemic it was

I would love a short about them just talking about quilting

After that weird Age Of Ultron interlude about Natasha being a monster for not having a uterus/not being able to have kids, I appreciated that this episode casually showed a former Black Widow happily adopting a child.

They can’t be the same person. Blade wears sunglasses and Cottonmouth doesn’t. He wouldn’t be able to see.

I took it as Val just being the handler. Eleanor hired Val’s services, and Val sent Yelena as the assassin.

The film’s one good history joke—the casting of Tom Hollander in the triple role of King George V, Tsar Nicholas II, and Kaiser Wilhelm II—turns out to be a squandered stunt;
