No. I’m comparing groups of policies favorably. There are 2 democratic candidates (for all intents and purposes), because I’m contrasting an imaginary campaign against the female candidate’s existing campaign I have to draw parallels to the other candidate...who happens to be male.
Apparently relating first hand experiences doesn’t change people’s minds either. It happens all the time, even on sites like this one.

Respectfully, in the primaries we do get to choose between Sanders and Clinton. I also share your SCOTUS concerns, and as it turns out, Bernie actually polls better against many GOP candidates than Hillary.
From what I’ve seen, there’s a whole lot of dudebro types who support Bernie because of his politics on pot legalization and the minimum wage but honestly couldn’t care less about the rest of them, much less call themselves “liberal” or “progressive.”
The weird thing is I went to a Bernie rally and he came off as pretty feminist to me. Like I was surprised because sometimes old socialists like him have some kind of regressive views on women, but he spent a pretty good chunk of time talking about pay equity, childcare, reproductive rights and etc.
It must be hard to consider yourself liberal and progressive and just hate women with every molecule of your being. That must be a real challenge during election season. We should pray for them.
