I don’t think his comparison is that stupid. There are lots of shows on Netflix that are > 20 minutes (shows that are an hour but run at 70 mins on occasion, or 50 minutes) and these same shows may also have episodes which have some bloat in them to fill out the time slot or extend the length of the episode.
