I believe he is referring to the fact that producing an EV is much worse than producing a regular gas engine car. The environmental impact of producing batteries and the lack of recyclability of those is pretty bad so when you consider the whole chain, an EV may only be slightly better.

I have said it before and I will say it again: Advertising (TV, print, internet, influencer) for all prescription drugs should be banned. The only arbiters of what drugs someone should be taking is the patient (or their representative if a minor/disabled/etc.) and their physician.  Period.
