Actually, this has been going around on my Facebook feed for a couple of weeks, and all the motorcyclists I know seem perfectly ok with this.

Yeah, let’s just kill people who commit misdemeanors.

Knocking them off their mopeds is not killing them. They’re not even getting injured.

Awww poor thieves have to be treated tenderly!! Dude stfu! If they behaved like humans and stopped robbing hard earned possessions from innocent people they wouldn’t be caught in that position. 

“Mistaken identity”... are you referring to the person actively fleeing the police? I don’t think it’s that hard to figure out who the suspect is.

I’m in agreement. And I say this as another fellow motorcyclist. I lost a bike last year to a thief.

After review, the call on the field is overturned. 

The government stepping in and saying you can’t say “girl or boy” is a bit too authoritarian for my taste. 

All they have to say is “Barbie or Hot Wheels?” and not “girl or boy?” and this problem is solved.

This. I get that it’s Splinter’s shtick but this is such a perfect example of this site’s “leftier than thou” ethos. It’s like characterizing Bernie as a right winger and defining him solely in the context of his position on Gun Control.

Yeah, pretty much. He’s also farther on criminal justice reform and racial justice issues than your garden variety progressive as well. This analysis is falling really flat for me. Not saying folks can’t be salty, but they gotta have more intellectually honest arguments than this.

Yeah - I don’t know about him specifically but being pro-charter school depends on context. In some contexts, it’s merely a ploy to take money out of public schools. In others, it’s an emergency fix until the school system can be brought to standard. 

Hakeem Jefferies is not from the right-wing of the party. It’s disappointing to see Lee lose, but painting him as a right-wing or even centrist Dem is quite misleading. He’s solidly to the left.

You know enough successful ultra runners to be able to put them into two camps, i.e. those who eat garbage and those who don’t? Do you live in an ultra runner village?
