This is so shameful. As a society why do we keep doing this to people. Everyone is up on their high horse. Is it possible he grew up in a racist home and area and that was all he knew? Its nurture v nature. He left his environment realized his errors and has not had a public slip up since he was 17!!!!!!!! His

Lol yeah, I get he cheated, but he also raised millions and millions of dollars for cancer research. As far as I’m concerned, his indiscretion wasn’t as bad as his positive contribution

Man, I fucking loved his bit in Tour de Pharmacy. I mean, I thought the whole thing was hysterical, but his bits in particular had me rolling. Hopefully he’s not done making fun of himself on screen.

Sure, but the point of the piece is that he understands, recognizes and accepts that he is deserving of the plight that he’s in.

my MIL played co-ed softball many years ago and some raging asshole dude KNOCKED HER FRONT TEETH OUT during a play - her teeth have been fucked up ever since.

But if we are going to maintain two separate classes for events, popularly understood as men’s and women’s, I would say that distinguishing primarily on the basis of an eminently reasonable testosterone standard is probably the most fair method to the entire field of athletes and not simply some means to shirk a

That goes in the same poor analogy bin as “Let’s go a step further and let people marry animals”. Taking your argument to a real conclusion would mean men and women compete together since it is just “natural physical attributes” that differ in the sexes.

I want to preface with the fact that I completely agree with this article and think it’s very well written and sound advice, particularly for folks hitting their 30s with their money sitting idly in cash or savings and no retirement plan yet.

I quit a church softball league because they’d play me in right field then run over me if ever a ball came near. I once had the opportunity to actually catch a ball but missed because the guy in right center was screaming. This was a league they were always needing women and knew I didn’t have much experience. So,

We don’t go to that length, but we trust in everyone’s ability. What’s frustrating is the other teams, that will rush to cover first or home, or whatever base they have the women, instead of letting them make the catch. The satisfying thing is that they usually screw up and drop the ball, and would have made the out

I have played co-ed kickball for years. Our team has won like 7 out 8 of the last championships, for one reason: our women. They are great and we let them take the plays. Guys on the other team constantly kick the ball to them, the guys stay in their positions the women make the catch and ever base is covered for

In my day, when playing with girls you showed off like a bunch of preening peacocks and kissed the ladies asses because HELLO, THEY WERE CUTE GIRLS. Trying to kill one was generally considered counter-productive when trying to meet the ladies.

and your reasoning for that is because there are too many boys at computer camp, instead of the obvious problem of parents sending their daughters to cheer camps and dance camps and model camp instead of coding camp.

so your point is that 7 year old girls aren’t going to computer camp because they are all being sexually harassed by boys

we are talking about little fucking kids in camp, not goddamn assault. christ almighty

That rule should be enforced league-wide by the umps where it’s clear that one player is cutting off a teammate (regardless of the gender of both).

I’ve played on adult co-ed softball too, for many years. Our league rules stated that the batting order was alternating guy-girl-guy-girl... I know there are some teams that are ultra-competitive and the guys try to overplay the girls. But our team (fyi, i’m a guy) played for fun. IMO that’s what adult co-ed sports

That’s a great rule

That’s actually a pretty good rule.

I am a man and I quit playing co-rec softball after witnessing an entire season of my muscle-bound meathead teammate scanning the field for the weakest female player before every at-bat, then hitting the ball so hard at her he grunted. Some of the women got some nasty bruises and I found myself apologizing to them in
