I have the $40 Luxebidet one they have had on here. Basically, the nicest one in their line that doesn’t have hot water.  It’s amazing!  #bidetlife

No argument there at all; it’s not an easy decision. At the same time, if that is not an option for some people, the other option is to be diligent about birth control (and really that should be the FIRST thought, no?).

I read about this elsewhere and YES, it was colossal stupidity by the ICE folks, but the clickbait-y headline about a “teenager” is well, clickbait-y.

Perhaps, but not irrelevant to the NEXT one.

Keyword: might.  And if you look at most of the highest-level players in ALL sports, MOST have had injuries at one time or another.  A very small percentage are career-ending, or even career-limiting.  Modern medicine helps quite a bit.

Uh, you can.  It’s called abortion.

Sigh. It’s so interesting when people don’t MISS the point, but rather intentionally avoid it.

Do I really have to write “rather than having their own opinions ABOUT THE ISSUE AT HAND”? The issue at hand is not my opinion; the issue at hand is the topic of the article.

And you’re certainly entitled to be the type of person who, rather than having their own opinions, merely spends their time shouting down the opinions of others.  Granted it is a bit juvenile, but I guess you don’t have to act like an adult if you don’t want to do so.

Not for some people.

Oh, and shame on the fuckhead who basically called pregnancy an injury.

I should have been more clear: I am fine with a private organization making their own rules, and don’t think my judgment should be a substitute for that. At the same time, I am entitled to my opinion.  And to me, protecting those who make a CHOICE to take time off from playing while NOT protecting those who did NOT

Well done. :)

Are there “unplanned babies”?  There ARE unplanned pregnancies.  After that, having a baby is an affirmative choice.

Sorry to be picky, but rather than being one of the ones who just responds with that every time someone says that “gender equals biological sex”, you might try being more precise in your words.

I agree.  That one simplification (using the word “gender” rather than “gender identity” and “gender expression”) makes the discussion just an argument over the definition of the word “gender”.

Choices in life have consequences; take them into account when making decisions. By contrast, players who get injured (which generally is not an affirmative choice) have no such protection.

Sorry to be picky, but rather than being one of the ones who just responds with that every time someone says that “gender equals biological sex”, you might try being more precise in your words.

I guess to me, I DO equate gender with biological sex, but understand that gender identity and gender expression can vary from gender, and therefore can vary from biological sex. So when people say “gender does not equal biological sex” I bristle a bit, whereas “gender identity and gender expression do not equal

First of all, gender has nothing to do with biology.
