It gets harder as they get older...they need you in different ways. I found it more psychologically challenging parenting tweens and teens (mine are grown and one is out of the house), and more physically exhausting parenting infants, babies and toddlers.

I tossed my Tevas years ago, after the “Teva Stink”(tm) set in. Man, those shoes REEKED, and there was nothing I could do to get the smell out. I heard this was a common problem with Tevas.
