Agreed. I don’t know the context or everything that happened, but he looked like he was for the most part trying to clear people away from him. That lady he swung the belt at, advanced on him. Based on what I’ve seen, and a healthy amount of assumption, I’d do the same thing.

I agree. The headline makes it sound like a DV situation or that he just head a woman when it was a brawl with several people and he didn’t hold back when the woman ran into it.

I would need more context to make a call either way, but it does seem like there is at least a chance this was one guy doing what he could to fight off a bunch of other people in self-defense.

Was going to say just that. They swarm him and he defends himself with a belt, and I’m going to guess not even the buckle end either, so at the very least that coupled with him backing up shows a certain degree of restraint on his part..
