At the postgame presser Doc Rivers explained that his son was aiming for the rim and this was just a run of the mill missed shot attempt for Austin.
Just another woman setting up a frivolous lawsuit. Eye discomfort is what us lawyers call “assumption of risk” when sitting in the 2nd row at a Kings game.
So he can’t have an opinion because he has issues? I think what makes Marshall a good interview on these subjects is that he’s still going through issues, and isn’t all that far removed from his prior actions, which were pretty serious, but he is remarkably self aware (probably a product of the therapy). He’s spot on…
This is the same guy who WOULD have gotten into a fight with Gould 4 years ago.
And some would make the argument that that’s all he can hope for - to be better than he was. Any of us, really. I applaud it (and I’m a Chicago resident, for goodness sakes).
Everyone has opinions on Greg Hardy’s sideline blow-up on Sunday. Few come from a place as informed as those of Jets…
Temple will shock them this weekend (I hope/wish). Even then, they’d have to run the table and then hope Stanford wins the PAC-12 with 2 losses and either TCU or Baylor lose a game to have a prayer. Unless she had some kind of weapon and was about to physically harm another student, there is not a single god damn thing that would excuse this cop’s behavior
Richland County sheriff Leon Lett has already spoken on the incident, telling WIS-TV, “the officer really dropped the ball here.”
“The video then shows the student resisting and being arrested by the SRO.”
It’s almost like assigning police officers to hang around schools as a punishment detail (because make no mistake: if you are assigned to a high school, it is because you are in the shit with your boss) is asking for trouble.
Maybe it’s time to start looking at the background check and psychological evaluation processes that we use to decide who is and is not fit to serve as a peace officer.
Video has come out of a cop—a school resource officer, or SRO, tasked with performing law enforcement duties in an…
