1. In most cities you cannot drive on one or more days with your car to avoid YUGE traffic jams. With an EV you can drive on more or even all days of the week

Trains aren’t faster.
Metro tubes aren’t the same as this basic tube.
Towing a bad car out of the tunnel is way easier than fixing a bad metro-car.
Metro-cars can’t easily be added or removed during rush-hours. That’s why we see tons of people boarding and tons of people unloading…

Doesn’t look bad actually and at a good price a good alternative. But .. them engines. Isn’t that seriously underpowered for the US of A ?

I think one of the interesting differences is that it seems the cars can drive much faster, they are more flexible (remove them, put them on other tracks) and way cheaper than a whole railway cart which needs electricity (conduits and stuff) as well. Not even considering that digging a tunnel that is twice as large…

Given the driving skill of most of the population and the irresponsibility of young studs, how many deaths does it need before that road will have a set speed-limit again ?

Having driven an X6M back in 2012 I do agree the shape is odd but the thing is damn fast. A normal 6-sedan could do with a smaller engine and be as fast or faster and behave better on the track but then again, what’s the issue with  big cars ? If they’re slow, then just overtake them.
