I agree in ‘real life’ VR can be very very useful. From hospitals (learning how to operate/practise/prepare) to sims for e.g. learning how to drive to training (military, police, firebrigade) and perhaps real-estate (architects showing a new virtual building to a client).

If only 1% of the market has or will buy a VR headset then how can VR be viable and profitable to studios? I see it as a gimmick, a nice gimmick, and I want it, but I am very aware I will be that 1 out of a 100 that will own and use a VR headset to play a game.

Perhaps because average horsepower does not exist? Your engine revs up and down all the time. So your horsepower at any given moment is also different. This is not to confuse people ; this is the inherent result of way an internal combustion engine works.

Besides the fact that shifting 8 times up and 8 times down increases wear on the finish of your shift knob.
