Yeah, that sounds stupid.

Ugh. That's probably the least possible reason for this, right next to "some Japanese just don't like buying products that start with the letter X."

Not sure if serious, and yes, it sounds stupid.

Because Microsoft sucks, and Japan realizes it.

Don't be obtuse. The Xbox has tanked in Japan for two generations prior and the Xbone is selling particularly badly. The only fanboy-ish reasoning happening are from those who seriously believe this all a result of Sony dropping bags of cash at every publisher's doorstep from Tokyo to Osaka.

spoken like a true troll

Because Sony didn't do an exclusive deal. Publishers are electing to abandon the Xbone because it's a sinking ship in Japan. Sony doesn't need to pay - not does it necessarily have the spare cash - to burn on titles that will sell better on their platform regardless.

Well sales kinda does matter in Japan

- Some Japanese devs will only make games to Playstation
- More Exclusive games for Playstation
- Localized games won't have an Xbox port

= Playstation 4 get more games
= Xbox one will get less games

For those of you asking why Japanese peeps are buying a Xbone

Missed the first few entries in the series? Man, Suikoden 1 and 2 are the series. 3 and 4 missed the boat entirely while 5 was like a last great attempt to return to greatness (It was a return to form in basically all aspects). Seriously, if you liked Suikoden V you owe it to yourself to give the first two a shot.

If my "role" was battered wife, I would regret that too.

You do realize you're commenting on Jezebel right? I mean, this is a rag as well. It sometimes try not to be, and sometimes actually succeeds (usually when their reposting articles written by actual journalists and the likes), but this is still a rag.

From Hell was by the Hughes Brothers, not Tim Burton.

just read some of the comments from other sources and its highly unlikely that this is anything other than promo for a book. The guy was always a suspect there was just no DNA testing then. And there is no evidence the shawl comes from where its claimed in fact highly unlikely as the victim was poor so unlikely to own

From Hell the film is a mediocre adaptation of the utterly flawless graphic novel From Hell. Go read it people! It's chilling and heartbreaking and verbose in the best of ways, as Moore pieces are wont.

Chief Jolson approves this message.

Good thing this guy is having kids.

Oh god, this comment - which clearly misses the entire point of the piece as self-parody - has 147 likes.

Well, when Final Fantasy XV was first announced back in May 2006

It's a parody of Deadspin's own "Why Your Team Sucks" articles.
