The EF-111 actually scored a kill, even though it was unarmed:

Mark Harmon’s father!!!!

Some guy at the Guardian wrote an amusing rant about Will Smith’s horrible accent:

Regarding the “doesn’t your man have a mouth” comment, I think she meant that since HE’S the one who didn’t get nominated, he should be the one speaking. I don’t think she meant it like “the man should be the one that speaks”

I think that had more to do with the Academy not liking the fact that it was released on Netflix and in theaters on the same day. Not saying the nominations weren’t racist af, but I think the “new media” aspect was definitely a factor in it getting completely shut out.

It was a bad movie and he was bad in it. Just my opinion. I haven’t seen Beasts, but Idris is always great and I don’t even have to watch it to know he deserves a nom over Will.

Bitter, sure, but she made some good points, no? If she asked Will to organize and ask for more money for their show, and she got that answer (“I got my deal, you got your own deals”), she has a point.

I mean it’s true tho...

Tell the truth, Aunt Viv

Lord have mercy, Beasts of No Nation was incredible, that man is an incredible actor. You are not.

It’s -11 here, and my not-so-scientific opinion is that it wouldn’t take long, especially if the person were exposed.

Needs lowering.. I just fitted an air ride kit in photoshop

Certified tree hugger here, we are fully aware of the issues:

Jesus fucking christ for the last time the “rare” in rare earth minerals DOES NOT RELATE TO HOW MUCH OF IT THERE IS ON EARTH. It references the fact that they typically occur in low concentrations or as a bound element in other ores. This makes it rare in the sense that it’s hard to economically produce the stuff, not

The facts are still on the side of electrified transportation, even in a full-life cycle analysis. Environmental groups are not a monolith, and though they may not conform to your world view, many employ lots of thorough evaluation of net costs/impacts. In the US, the net benefits are a function of the regional power

This old trope of “the long tailpipe” has been disproved many times over. As for overlooking facts, you can check them yourself courtesy of the DOE (http://www.afdc.energy.gov/vehicles/elect…). And with continued displacement of coal as our primary source of generation fuel, the environmental case for switching to EVs

Is it not okay to do?

That Gawker article read as pretty tongue-in-cheek to me. I mean, it’s filed to “Facts (real ones)”. It definitely wasn’t an excellent argument against dishwashers at any rate. Having a dishwasher is about on the same level to me as having premium channels on your cable. Is it nice to have, absolutely. Is it really

Born and raised NYer here: Apartments with dishwashers are not normal in NYC since a lot of housing has free water and heat. Laundry in an apartment isn’t normal either.
