I know Saab had been trying to get around UK’s veto, so they can sell the latest Gripen E/F to Argentina.
Consider if the 72 F-15 is approved on top of the 24 Rafale they already brought, they would expand their fighter force 10 fold, it may not be that misguided to expect them to settle for “ONLY” triple their fighter force.
This article presented that with the unfrozen money, Iran is going to be on a shopping spree and its Sunni gulf negihbors are being forced into an arm race.
I was fine with Tyle’s argument. Then I looked up their current inventory, and went “Oh! Sh*t!” 24 Rafale and 72 F-15E for a country with 2 million population? Can they even find and train enough “qualified” fighter pilots among its own citizen?
But do “someone else” really have the slack production capacity to sell 72 F-15E level fighters at similar time frame? I had link in another post on how Dassault is struggling to ramp up Rafale production from 11/year to 30/year.
It will take Dassault 3 years to ramp-up Rafale production from its former 11/year rate to 30/year. Which means new Rafale orders won’t be delivered until 2020 at least, unless existing customers are willing to give up their delivery slot.

Doesn’t LMCO have contractual obligation to assist South Korean KAI in promoting their KAI T/FA-50, a F-16 derivative? They do collect licensing fees for each of those sold with minimum risks/investments.
The whole thing lasted over 10 hours. If people are stupided enough to stay on the vehicles, ...
HRC was famously a Goldwater Girl, so she hasn’t always been in the democratic party. And her policies are still very Goldwater repulbican. It’s just that GOP had moved, so Goldwater would be consider RINO by many today.
Under NYS/NYC laws/regulations? Who is resonsbile for replacing burn-out light bulbs?
Ma did got over 7.6 million votes in 2008 over Frank Hsieh.
Isn’t 6.89 millions is about the same number of votes Ma got to beat her in 2012? And some DPP supporters had been calling MA and his supporters “689" in a negative way for the last 4 years?
Beside the head of state/government issue peope had alreay pointed out, there had been plenty of female heads of government in that region.

The U.S.-educated former law professor is the first woman to hold office.
Hatahway was somewhat associated with John McCain in the 2008 election circle. Gawker had done its fair share of hatchet jobs on her over it.
