Even with all the different logic indicators the 2K team has tried to implement into 2K’s GM/league modes over the years, they still haven’t found a way to accurately account for player chemistry and/or ownership desires. The sorts of superstar trades that are relatively commonplace in the NBA (ie. Barkley, Melo,

Think it falls on both Cousins and Kings’ management for both being dumbasses. Cousins isn’t the first and last temperamental baby the NBA will have, but other teams have sure gotten far, far better trades with their problem child.

Well, the main thing I can think of is the Rasheed Wallace rule, his on court emotions have and will continue to cost him games this season and following seasons if he doesn’t chill a bit. Hopefully the change of scenery and the AD factor will help with that the way Detroit did with Sheed.

See, this is kind of bs though. CPUs in pretty much any sports game are notoriously difficult to trade with. His rating is so high I’m willing to bet that the computer would have parted with Cousins for anything less than Steph Curry or LeBron James.

Cousins had no trade value.

why are all you guys seemingly so angry about this? The guy NEEDED a change of scenery. Not only is he not even playing hard for Sacramento, it’s a toxic situation for him mentally. While the Kings are fucked up (and no, I’m not saying they have HIS best interests in mind), everyone should be happy about this trade.

You’re never going to get full price for Cousins because of his track record. The Kings were playing the right game this season by pretending they were going to give him a $200m contract in the off-season, but Cousins couldn’t do his part in the Kabuki theater of raising his market value. All he had to do was show up

“Worst trade of all time!!! No way baby!!!!”

Vlade: The Unprofessional.

Although Drummond is much much (...) better, isn’t there a bit of redundancy in having him and Cauley-Stein on the same roster?

You said that we wouldn’t win at your place
Well guess what, Kobe dunkin’ in your face

I am now hoping the Kings win 6 titles in a row just so Vlade could be declared Greatest GM of All Time.

Any update on a playmaker Lebron has been crying for?

he can’t legally drink yet and is less than two years removed from being considered a top 5 prospect. I’ve caught the nuggets live about a half-dozen times, and he has the physical tools, i just don’t know where his head’s at. It always feels like one step forward, two steps back with him. A smart team with good

That’s my thought. Drummond > Hield, but the quality of the extra picks/players was perceived to be/actually was lesser than what they got from NO. Plus, as screwed up as this logic is, I can’t help but wonder that in their pursuit of picks/rebuilding, the Kings decided that they don’t want to take back another big

Things that are okay according to the NBA:

I think the Nuggets probably view Murray as untouchable.

I wonder if maybe Detroit wasn’t willing to part with a first round pick in the swap, or maybe wanted more protection on the pick. But, yeah, everything else being equal, it seems pretty bonkers to like Hield more than Drummond.

Bulls need to trade Butler. He’s by far the best player available, now that Boogie is off the market. And the Bulls are at best, cannon fodder for their first round opponent, at worst missing the playoffs by 3-5 games. Follow the lead of Reinsdorf’s other team and finally start a goddamn rebuild please.

And not to mention her scene that had nothing to do with the case, the brutally awkward reunion with the high school ex. That was amazing.
