THIS is exactly the kind of classic you want. Reminds me of my old Frankencar, a 1962 356B T-6 Coupe. Had the engine from a 64, was painted decently a light yellow color but it was originally blue which you could see when it chipped anywhere and some areas of the interior, but it ran like an absolute top and needed

I know the answer for the last one! Borgia!

I don’t want to know where you get these “human dollars” from, but it sounds illegal.

I bought two cars remotely last year. The first was from North Carolina and just did a pre-purchase and then had it shipped. The 2nd was from a dealer in Milwaukee (I’m in Chicago) and since Chicago rules said I couldn’t leave the state without 14 day quarantine when I got back, after we worked out the deal, they

I’ve been in a Rogue SL and you’re right on literally every point including the CX-5 argument. Why anybody would buy anything other than a CX-5 amazes me. The Rogue also pissed away all its brake fluid with 15k miles on the clock, so it’s not just a matter of perceived quality, it’s actually garbage.

The Alfa wheels are easily some of my favorite of all time. The 8C is achingly beautiful.

That is really thoughtful advice, and it is fun to reminisce about our automotive memories. Dad is fond of saying that he’s had “one foot on a banana peel” for a long time now and he’s still here. He can’t turn a wrench much anymore but he’s nearby and can still loom over my shoulder while I do it. Here’s hoping that

Your last sentence - that’s the worst.  I don’t get it either.

Yes 100%. The exact same situation is looming for me, except there are more than 2 and they aren’t 911s.

What’s keeping me from shitting all over this dealership?

Depends.

What’s the current conversion rate between BaT Dollars and US Dollars?

username checks out.

Gallardo.

I can’t put my finger on why the YM isn’t more popular, but you’re right there is something about it that isn’t quite right.

GMT is a great suggestion, I’m trying not to buy more as I’m “saving” for my dream car, but keep getting sidetracked by random things and Daytona would seriously set that back.

I have a 114060 that I wear the second most of my watches next to a steel 50s seamster that is maybe worth $300.

God this game is so good. The hundreds of hours I’ve spent in it, and that British landscape. A lot of people loved Australia from 3, but I found that bland by comparison. There are so many colours on display... well except in winter. Also kudos to Playground for making one of the most well optimised engines around.

The only exception to this is the peak of the 08 crash. I was offered a kermit for $5700 and just didn’t have the money.

Steel Patek sport watches and daytonas have been beating the S&P 500 recently.

If you bought a $6000 steel submariner or explorer 2 last year, you made a 50% return.

Appreciation for engineering/mechanical devices. Both watches and cars have an incredible amount of design, engineering and craftsmanship involved and I have an appreciation for that type of work.
