Dear god that is a big-ass boat. Thanks for the tip, it really puts into perspective how monstrous these things are.

COD4: MW (the original version not the remaster) is the best COD, and it’s not even close.
Totally plausible. Although it isn’t like this is a stripped-out track build. Could have just been an aesthetic choice too, although personally I prefer the stock 5-spokes.
I had a DX manual sedan back in early college which was easily good for 36-38mpg, and later I had an ‘01 EX manual coupe which could hit 36 if you weren’t driving like a hooligan (I was ~20 at the time so I was always driving like a hooligan). Great little cars, they’re more fun than people give them credit for.
I’m not the only one who pegged these as HX, but I’m thinking they’re off like a 2001. Completely possible that a.) the wheels changed over that 4 year gap or b.) Acura changed the calipers during the other 4 year gap.
Yeah I’m not a UTV guy so I have no knowledge but I can’t imagine they (all, at least) have VINs. I think you’re on the right track in that finding a state that allows for on-road UTVs would be the ticket to registration here.
Just because other brands are doing it doesn’t mean it’s not a stupid idea.
Yeah I think those wheels are off an early-’00s Civic HX... talk about a weird model to poach wheels from. Nobody bought the HX.
Disagree. My take is that they went for “everyday use restomod” aesthetic by merging the old body with new everything else. I’d rock it.
I’m not sure you need glass, although it could depend on the state. MT has no state inspection so I’m not sure the thing would need any sort of modification to get registered there.
I don’t know if you’re into watches, but think about Rolex. The Submariner and Datejust are iconic in the watch world, and a LOT of brands imitate aspects of those designs which may fall under this broad “particular lines, contours, colors, shapes or texture” ruling. I’m not certain Rolex would care enough to do…
Agreed with the commenters above. I haven’t spent a cent for FH4 beyond my initial purchase (which I’ll note was the Ultimate edition, more on that later).
It’s definitely way worse. I’d look for data but, having flown private a few times*, I’d argue that person-trip C02 stats would be incomplete to the point of being misleadingly low.
It isn’t. Well, it shouldn’t be. But the way publicly traded companies are legally structured, they are required to focus on profits (for shareholders) at the exclusion of everything else. So it follows that they’re effectively mandated to look into “solutions” like this for “cost savings” in the pursuit of…
Yeah reflecting back on college I think I’d gladly trade natural light for a solo living space. I hated having roommates, and one year at least we kept the window covered with blinds the entire year anyway since we liked sleeping in the dark and it was tough to get at.
The exception that proves the rule is the first-generation Harley F150s. These things were fantastic looking.
Some companies are integrating it into the rearview mirror, so that would imply there’s no requirement that the display be in the console.
Yeah this applies to all of the B5s, when I was looking into B5 S4s that was noted as a really maintenance item when they wear out.
