I was today years old when I learned that Ford made a manual Fusion.

Very true and point well taken, I’ve experienced that personally. I have an air-cooled 911 and for a while during the height of the bubble it was “worth” more numerically (I inherited it so it’s priceless to me personally) than I could possibly justify rationally. The market corrected and now I think the valuation is

Agreed, in nearly all cases I would similarly advise against financing for any type of toy/discretionary purchase (car, watch, boat, etc.).

And, think of how easy it’ll be to make whisky!

Nice try lol. This one’s a forever car for our family.

My air-cooled 911 has about 150k on it... you’re saying that’s a sub-$10k car?

HellRams and V8 Jeeps. All of the interesting things FCA sells, with the exception of the Giulia and Stelvio, are $80,000.

I’ve long thought that this story is one of the most amazing parts. He’s landing somewhere we’ve never been, somewhere completely uninhabited, and he still has to literally find a place to park the lander which was not designed for that situation. It’s unreal, and not publicized enough.

The real question is how they left the ground with the weight of all those huge brass balls.

“Yes it was pretty crappy by today’s standards, but it held it’s own very well when compared to the build quality and mechanical sketchiness of just about every other early seventies mass produced car.”

Interesting, and alarming. I wonder if that “35 and older” stat basically means that a lot of them are Boomers, though.

Hi, that’s me. The original series pretty much declined from the first episode through the finale, but I did stick with it. I’ll give this one a shot.

“I look at the insurectionists [sic], and I wonder how hard they worked and how much money they spent not to pay taxes.”

Obligatory:

It also sounds like they aren’t taking much away from the FTC... they can still collect, they just can’t do so in this specific way. Annoying for victims, granted, but at least it doesn’t prevent them from eventually getting repaid (likely, partially repaid, but still it’s something).

Same. And agreed on the purchase/sale calculation, I’ve had a number of cars I traded in before paying off (always with equity, I’m not an idiot, I just get bored) so I spent nowhere near the actual purchase price.

I had a good time with BF1, but it was only fun if your entire team was competent. In BF4 one competent squad was able to make a difference, but the maps in 1 were too large for that to be possible. Personally I loved the old-school weaponry, but then I’m weird and have enjoyed using no-scope bolt-action rifles in

The viewership counts you see, which probably show between 10 and 15 people, are also counted by Dominion. The actual number is obviously much higher, at 26,000,000. The Venezuelans just don’t want you to see the real truth.
