Depends on what the next power choke point is. With B8 A4s, you can add a claimed 60hp and 60tq with all existing factory hardware still in place. 50-state emissions compliant, no worries.

The original roadster was based on the then-current Lotus Elise, which was a tiny car.
The transaxle cars are super fun, definitely take one out for a spin if you get a chance. NA ones aren’t fast by any means, but they’re very light and the weight distribution and neutral handling are sublime. They’re “slow car fast” cars and they’re brilliant on winding back roads.
Did you see the part where I said I own an air-cooled 911? Lol. Despite the temperatures I took it for a spin this past Thursday, in fact.
Sounds like you’re talking about the 964, which yes, is gorgeous. I largely agree with you that the post-1976 G-series 911s (Porsche added light “SC flares” to the rear fenders beginning in ‘77) and the 964 are probably the best and purest versions of the car.
I think they’ve aged very well (along with a lot of cars from that turn of the millennium era, actually). The 996 has a simple and clean design which has stood the test of time.
This take is bad, or you drove a bad example of the car. 996s are phenomenal to drive, and always have been.
I’ve seen a few of them around here (metro NY), usually interesting colors too. Granted wealthy areas in the snowy north is home turf for Audi.
Interesting. I’ve only seen a handful of them around but they all had LEDs, I didn’t even know halogen lights were an option although, knowing GM,I should have assumed.
Nice-looking car! I don’t think I’ve ever seen one of those around (I live in the metro NY area).
GM really does have an extraordinarily proud history of coming out with amazing concept vehicles (this one, most recent Cadillac concepts, etc.) then shooting themselves in the proverbial nuts by not making them. It’s baffling, and it’s self-inflicted because if they just didn’t bother to make the damn concepts nobody…
Crass opportunists is a good way to describe it. If they truly wanted equal and honest coverage they’d re-institute the Fairness Doctrine. They don’t want that, though, since equal and honest would expose their flagrant hypocrisy and severely threaten their attempts at minority rule.
It’s Russia, they both got sent to the gulag.
Even in pictures, Hawley’s clearly in the same part of the “punchable face” spectrum as Cruz. He may even, and I can’t believe I’m typing this, exceed Cruz’ rating in that area. Hawley has this clearly-feigned facial expression where he acts like whatever he’s doing is the most important thing ever done in our…
There’s unfortunately a nonzero chance you’re right, however, these are both women and the GOP still has a pretty significant current of sexism to go along with its racism and xenophobia. An all-woman ticket strikes me as unlikely.
I am a fellow watch enthusiast, I have several Swiss dive watches. My expert take is:
And the Trogdor comes in the NIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT!
I’d buy a piece of that if priced reasonably. A part of what is probably mankind’s most historic achievement is worth preservation.
I love the idea of an M3 with a 320i body kit and 32o-esque wheels (I’m assuming the base wheels wouldn’t fit). Would be an amazing sleeper.
