I disagree. I think this is a brilliant modernization of the Miura design language.

Especially in Alpina B6 spec.
My father’s first Porsche was one of these, bought in 2001 for $3500. It was his daily for years, and while it did need some repairs and maintenance during that time it never left him stranded. The 50/50 balance and light weight made it incredibly fun in the corners, too.
Would you say he can have... all stars?
The legally-binding fiduciary responsibility that companies have to their shareholders, rather than to the employees/planet/society/whatever, is probably the worst thing about capitalism. It’s directly or indirectly responsible for an incredible amount of the systemic problems faced by developed societies.
I disagree, and my reasoning is pretty well-illustrated in the one example you chose... the big body RR has always been classy, and the current one is classy and will age well.
Same thought, immediately. Even at a closer look, the only thing that makes me think this may not just be literally recycled VW stampings is that the roof seems to be multiple pieces (based on the black joint covers) on the Chinese one whereas the Touareg doesn’t have them.
Same. I was there once 5 years ago and somehow still recognized it. Why is this place so memorable?
I’ve seen essentially no other Marvel universe movies, but the Iron Man ones are absolutely worth a watch.
If I was a mega-athlete LA or NYC are the only places I’d want to play, in that order. LA for the weather and general awesomeness, NYC because the organized chaos is amazing and because if you have millions you can live like a king there.
Same. A lot of game developers lately seem to ignore the, shall we call it, adult market. I grew up on games and enjoy playing them but I have like, 3o min to 1hr twice a week to game. I don’t want to spend that time repetitively trying to get past the same level/race/boss etc, I just want to relax and enjoy the time.
911 owner here. No.
I mean sure, but just because they have to wear them doesn’t mean that cars are designed for them or that they look good.
Really? New NSX and Mclaren models are EVERYWHERE in and around NYC.
I don’t really need to argue against your point, all I need to do is post a shot of those cars WITHOUT front plates and the argument wins itself. It’s invariably a cleaner, more aesthetically pleasing look.
Thank you for the Euro Trip reference. Even though Bratislava is in a completely different country from the former Yugoslavia lol.
W202 C-class had only one wiper, didn’t it?
Respectfully I disagree... I have a 3.2 Carrera (very different car, granted) and I love driving it at normal speeds and even in the city. It’s very chuckable and fun, same goes for other Porsches I’ve driven also. Give it another go, or look at a 996.
Yup. I live in the NYC area and someone I know just went out of his way to custom order a Macan S on 18s for that exact reason. He’s right-sizing a similar overreaction to what your friend did (D3 S8 >C7 S7 > Wrangler JKU) after getting something like 30 flats and 4 bent wheels over about 7 years with those cars. New…
Get a used base-model Boxster or Cayman. Pretty much hits all those boxes.
