IIRC from a handling perspective 18" with low profile tires is where the best balance of weight and handling intersect. Anything larger, the weight leads to diminishing handling returns.

It’s that they’ve somehow distilled the idea and essence of what a 911 should be, then created that in its purest form in metal and carbon with stunning build quality, style, and understatement. I’ve loved 911s since I was a kid, and a Singer is the top car on my dream car list.

I’m with you. The 99-01 Civic is absolutely the high water mark. And, to go even further, it may be the nostalgia talking but that era of cars in general was very nice looking across brands. Modern designs, without the overstyled “LOOK AT ME” styling that started shortly after.
