Shaun Palmer: Pro Snowboarder was a contemporary title and also had a legendary metal soundtrack. It’s still a solid chunk of my gym playlist to this day.

Jason Mendoza is the hero we all need right now.
“Mid-season break” after the bat beating. First episode ruined it for me, but my better half was hoping it would get better so we toughed out that half-season. She agreed with me by the midpoint, and neither of us has missed it.
I’m in love with this car now. I need it.
Bingo. They only register trademarks for the area(s) that they’ll be used. Pretty sure Subaru wasn’t planning for this... but you never know.
CT also whacks you for annual property tax based on the value of your vehicle(s). Can’t say I blame him with a car worth that much... it would be easily $5k or more per year.
You need to listen to the podcast “How Did This Get Made?” with Paul Sheer, Jason Mantzoukas, and June Diane Raphael. They’ve done a ton of hilarious F&F takes.
Wow. Glad your friend is alright; I’ve had snow buildup happen to me but never to the point that it affected steering.
Reasonable response. My point was that it’s essentially the same car, just more expensive in most configurations just for taller suspension. I don’t care what he wants if it makes sense for him and he’ll use the ride height.
If you’re on Jalopnik, why a Crosstrek? It’s a lifted Impreza that often costs more and gets much worse mileage.. Don’t give in to BIG “CROSSOVER,” man!
Fun fact, if you have VCDS you can likely enable them somehow. You may need a new switch though. In my B8.5 A4 I was able to enable (wow that sounds awkward) Euro-style single-side parking lights. Which I have never once used even when parallel parked. But, you know, they’re there. So there’s that.
We’re looking down on Wayne’s basement, only that’s not Wayne’s basement...
Same camp as you, had the same thought. But I accept Kristen’s explanation; that’s happened to me before.
I’m sorry for your loss.
I don’t think any unibody sheet metal changed. The lights on both cars and where they meet the bumper, so they just made a new bumper mold. New trunklid yes, but “unboltable” panels are usually all the change for facelifts and badge-engineered cars. If you look at the 2012 Audi A4 rear vs. the 2013 facelift you’ll see…
Yes I similarly have issues with this comparison. This guy is making great subtle restomods, but it’s nowhere near the fundamental remanufacturing of the car, while cherry picking the best of everything throughout the model’s history, that Singer does.
The best days were early F1 race, London game, then the full afternoon slate. Maximum levels of bone-idleness made easy.
Somewhere, Tom Brady and Peter Thiel are furiously taking notes on this article.
Yeah. Not my style, I’m more of a Euro sports car guy, but as free grandpa hand me down cars go a 300hp Diamond White El Dorado ETC is pretty solid.
I had one, briefly. That Northstar is just a horrendous collection of electrical issues. The 2 days it was running right it was incredibly fast and they ride like a sofa, but that was 2 separate days over the 5 months I owned it.
