I did the same thing and blacked it out when I liked the dealership I bought it from and didn’t mind giving them free advertising. But I was fully aware that’s what I was doing.

Literally every identifiable brand that appears in any type of advertisement has to be paid for, even if it’s in the background. Same on TV, with product placement etc. If you see a logo, generally assume that the company was compensated for it.

Nah. A Suburban over 100k would make the XL Denali and Escalade more irrelevant than they already are. The Escalade can get into 6 figures, and the Denali straddles the difference.

You don’t need to buy anything. I’ve been consistently competitive and have won a dozen times without spending a cent. The only cool (IMO) add on is the umbrella glider (what you use to drop in at the beginning) which is a permanent award when you win. It’s cool because you have to earn it and only winners get it.

Governing bodies don’t even test all of them, AFAIK. The numbers are manufacturer-reported and the government tests a random sample to keep everyone in line.

I am older than that, and have “real money,” and still think democratic socialism is a good idea. And I am not even close to the only person in my position who feels that way.
