How do you forcibly open locked doors?

Check for a firmware update? My TP Link devices used to drop off WiFi every few days until I updated the firmware, and now they’re rock solid. My Z-Wave switches have been fantastic, almost 10 years now and I think I had to reset them only once. Wish I could say the same for SmartThings.

Video could be better or worse than average human night vision. Without knowing more about this particular camera, really not much of a point in arguing either way. Either way, the earlier statement by police chief does sound like BS.

Has anyone here compared this with the Yi Dashcam? There’s one review that compares the two, and said it has better video quality overall, but loses out when the sun is directly in front and at night. Also mentioned that the Yi app is superior.

The old one is pretty slow due to the fact that network and disk I/O all go through USB. The new one improves network performance but it’s still pretty slow. If all you want is a network file share, either get an external hard disk with network interface, or a full blown NAS that provides RAID 1 or RAID 5.
