Again, if it was the “bad situation”, high likelihood law enforcement would have just taken him home as a minor. And too many times lately I have read articles about DSS not removing kids from a reported bad situation(see that article from last week about 6 adopted kids being driven off a cliff by activist parents?…

I mean, selfish is an option, like most teenagers. Or he could have been fleeing a bad situation, and didn’t want to be returned there. Or he could have had mental health issues that prevented clear thinking on the matter. I am one to give the kid the benefit of the doubt on this one.

I always make stock from rotisserie bird leftovers, it is great to have on hand. And though it is frowned on by certain circles, the leftover softened bones are totally devoured by my egg laying flock.
