Plaxo?

@Gina Trapani: I care. I have not been a Firefox user since I've owned my new laptop. Having IE7pro means I have the functionality I need (except better Gmail.. when do we get the IE version?)

I don't appreciate the signup, but overall I like this. The Flickr, Facebook and Picasa integration is very useful. The interface is thought out, though there's room for more prettiness.

I don't see a problem. I don't even love Flickr that much the way it is, but adding Windows Photo Gallery integration would be a plus for me.

Other software I really endorse on that list are Paint.NET (you mean I don't need Photoshop? Unpossible!) and "I play anything" VLC.

Can't do PDF readers without listing PDF-XChange. It is full-featured and the best in my experience (I find Foxit to be no better than Acrobat).

Just bought SPB Pocket Plus for my phone

I've never tried those keys on a Mac. What do they actually do?

I don't get it; if the thumbnails are on my desktop, then how do I click on them when I have a maximized window filling the screen? After all, the point of the taskbar is to quickly get to another window.

You mean people actually store files in folder just by their filetype? Sounds incredible.

MS is not exactly competing with Google in the same sense here. They're adding capabilities to their wildly successful Office product. Google is trying to give word processing, etc. away to make people feel less dependent on Office.. should Microsoft be expected to do the same thing to itself and undercut their sales?

I cannot understan dwhy adults who have been through at least 13 years of schooling still have to learn this stuff.

How do I use this in Vista? There's no boot.ini

When Picasa was first released, I was highly excited about it's potential — downloaded it immediately. While the interface with the scalable pictures, etc. was pretty, it dissapointed me in the level of usability I expected. Labeling wasj ust a tad too cumbersome, as I had to folder by folder into the bazillions of

Get Windows Desktop Search. It just makes sense.. I even launch programs with that thing, like Vista. It indexes >quickly< and then it's got a much more usable, integrated UI than GDS or even Yahoo Desktop Search. I had GDS and it was OK, but it makes more sense to get desktop search from the makers of the OS you're
