AM stations seem to reach far enough - any further and the information becomes irrelevant to those far-reaching areas. (most AM stations are talk stations, no?)

@Americanitis: you're right - I feel that fox only leans to the right, while most every other news station flops to the left. It seems like they (the left) don't even try...at least TRY to be fair, even if you do bias one side. I feel like that's what fox does.

@gebinsk: in principle you are right, but (hopefully) apple and MS don't go beyond porn in their restrictions (as an outright category - restricting on a per-app basis is a different argument)

I've had an iphone 3G for two years now, and have only dropped it once, ever. do people seriously drop their phones that often?

i had no problem jumping from vzw to att for the iphone, but att sucks so much now that even the iphone 4 couldn't keep me around....

@ian.g.case: they are pixel doubling though, not ppi doubling, so it should just be the current ipad res*2

@Ozzie, The Banana Man Fan: I'm pretty far down the app store hole as well, but I'll be jumping to the evo and getting a new touch in sept, to keep my current apps (never thought id become dependent on an OS for car logs, grocery shopping, etc)

ipad pixel doubling would be 2048*1536.

@jzp.unltd: perfect right? although I do believe the evo must be rooted first, to use the free tethering. still, an easy step i've heard (even post-patch from the one a few days ago)
