I think the price point, small size, and reliability will hold customers.
I assume the driver will be too busy staring at that guy grabbing at Mark Fields' ass.
That's a strong statement. I agree that you can't not see the Aston cues in the Fusion and a lot of the other cars, but none of Ford's offerings look "cheap" - for the first time in a long, long time.
I had an R-Spec Gen coupe last summer for review. This had the 348hp V6 with 6M trans, and lemme tell ya it sounded really nice over 4k rpm. No cruise control though, which I thought was an odd exclusion.
Mustang 4T may actually be lighter than the Gen Coupe now too! But it will also be more expensive. I'm also excited to see how Hyundai responds (which has never been said before).
Yeah but it makes me look forward to what the next Genesis Coupe will offer. There's no reason they couldn't push the current turbo from 274hp to 300+, and if they force some air into the 3.8 V6 it could easily push 400+hp. Competition is great!
Sorry, some people like to be able to, you know, drive their cars over speed bumps and up driveways.
It's not about being a tech tour de force, like the GT-R. This is more about having enough tech so it completes its intended mission. If the Mustang wants to be a sports car, it's getting the power and mechanicals and software it needs to be fast on straights and corners.
Me, too. I think the people who considered the '95 Cobra R a "Muscle Car" need to realize that the least powerful version of the new car has more power than the Cobra R.
Subaru 360!
In 1923, you could have it in any color as long as it was black.
The cheapest car on sale in the US today is the Nissan Versa at $12,780. That's a good deal, but the following ten were even cheaper when they hit the market. These are budget cars at their best.
Not THE cheapest but still pretty cheap. In 1955 King Midget cost about $4300 in 2013 dollars.
I believe it is consistently the cheapest as well
Odd fact... I wrote part of the owners and repair / maintenance manuals for the TaTa Nano... very exciting stuff.
Ford Model T in 1926 the base price had fallen to $260.00 or $3,334.99 in Today's money.
Kia Rio.
The "Miata" of this QOTD will of course be Mega Maid from Spaceballs. Because she can go from "suck" to "blow".
