FT-86 II had a really weird rear end:

Wow, I have somehow never seen that before. Thanks for sharing!

Looks like a weird Mx-6 / Eclipse mashup.

The 1999 Z concept:

That lede image is the best use of modern internet capability I’ve seen.

Race widget!

No infotainment on the Kawasaki though.

Disappointed that it wasn’t cut into four sections held together by frilly toothpicks arranged around a pile of chips.

Except that quality 16” tires are few and far between these days. There’s still some good 15” rubber soldiering around, but 17” is pretty much minimum as manufacturers are putting 19”+ wheels on everything.

1990 Miata - $13,800 base, magazine optioned cars were $17k.

A big CLA in the sculpting.

Maybe I don’t understand the hate. It’s a mainstream midsize car, it’s supposed to be boring. Because boring is safe, and safe sells. Looks about like a current Sonata, which is above average for the class. Not as nice as the Mazda 6 or Fusion, but not as shitty as the Altima.

Ok, after a minute to digest:

Woah, great article. Thank you!

The space elevator concept just blows my mind.

Came here to post it, have to include an image or people won’t recommend your post because people don’t read:

I still see it as sour grapes by Panoz. The full page newspaper ad, the lawsuit, etc.

I would fathom a guess that there is zero intent to build a Panoz Deltawing street car, and the patent drawings are an epic cockblock from that epic cock Panoz. He'll do anything to deep six the Bladeglider
