I shook his hand at the GT intro at NAIAS. Couldn't think of anything to say except, "congrats, good job." That was cool.

Is that the impression you got when you drove it?

Donkervoort anything, this is a D8 GT. This is what happens when the Dutch see a Lotus Seven and take it to the extreme.

Well, it _is_ a Noble, for all intents and purposes.

Don't forget the Decopods!

Homologation specials!

Exactly! Very cool (and potentially game changing) type tech.

Nope, the front wheels (on the LH side of the photo) are powered purely by electric motors.

I see it more of a poor man's 918 Spyder, but yeah. Million dollar car tech for 85% off.

That's been discussed. Two electric motors up front that allow for torque vectoring. A third electric motor in the rear power unit to help with low end torque.

I think the active torque vectoring is definitely technology not to be trifled with.

Many people don't get this. A Toyota Sienna meets or beats a Miata in almost every numbers comparison. Yet somehow Mazda manages to sell Miatas.

I'm surprised you are still conscious.

Create awesomeness.

We need:

how do you like your crow prepared? I'll find a recipe.

Hyundai / Kia took one look at the sales numbers of that other pretty, sporty, rear drive performance coupe they make and said, "nope."

I'll bet you you are wrong.
