I hope it goes against another blockbuster to create a box office Battle Network.

This is my third favorite game of all time, and my favorite Nintendo game behind Smash Bros melee. I know it has its flaws and its dissenters, but fuck, I adore this game.

No, the last season was actually pretty great.

Nah. The Hound's been a low-key holder of plot armor the whole series; if he dies soon, it'll be an important death with meaning.

Yeah, that isn't true. Ed Sheehan was framed much more prominently and given much more tongue-in-sheek lines than any of the other ones.

Wait…I'm confused. I know we haven't technically seen the book's version of season 6 yet, but assuming the Jon Snow stuff plays out in a similar manner, wouldn't Martin be contradicting his own point?

Laughable? Come on, the worst bunch of Drama is House of Cards, which is still super entertaining depending on who you ask. The Crown, Stranger Things, Westworld and This is Us are all really good at what they're going on. Certainly not laughable.

I'm not going to shit on you or anything cause I understand where you're coming from, but I do want to point out that one of the greatest joys of The Leftovers is putting it in context of Lindelof and identifying just how much he's learned from his mistakes as a writer. I think the majority of his past work was hugely

I'm confused. Are you directing that at Zach or at Roast? Zach is clearly a fan of the show.

Huuuuuuge disagree. She was better as Nora because Nora is an All-Timer TV character, but she was fantastic as Gloria and brought a shit-ton of pathos and muted anger to the role.

No, but as far as shows that are obviously going to get nominations versus shows that unfortunately probably will not, he's saying stranger things is high on the quality side, Which is true.

As disappointed as I am by the lack of The Leftovers, I'm not surprised. But, if I'm being honest, the Emmy's have improved considerably in terms of the general quality of shows they recognize. While there are still heart-breaking snubs, at least the majority of the major shows getting nominated are pretty quality,

Keep. forgetting that's this year. There are a ridiculous amount of them now

It just completely changed premises halfway through, and the first premise was waaaaay fresher and more interesting than the second.

Oh my god, how could I? I LOVED Lego Batman.

LOVE the Wailing. Good movie throughout and just when it seems it took some missteps at the end, it pulls the wool over your eyes and reveals one of the best endings in genre cinema this decade.

Did Transformers really compete against Spiderman 3? Jesus, I didn't realize they were the same year

If Thor is as good as it looks, then you're absolutely right.

Yeah, I recently moved across the country from my super-powered soul mate so my reflexes are super sharp right now.

Eh, Hancock is the movie that comes to mind immediately when I think of terrible third acts. That movie is 50% awesome and 50% bad bad bad, almost exactly split down the middle of the movie.
