You and me both. I finally got one boss cell after many hours of grinding. I doubt I’ll ever beat it.

Lain was only 13 episodes? When I watched it, it felt like..... Forever. Like 20+ or so episodes. Not saying it was dragging or anything, but it was just such a surreal experience that I forgot it’s not a long anime.

Striking in all directions is provided by the shard system. Providing that through the standard weaponry would’ve thrown off the balance

There’s also a crafting system in Bloodstained, which lets you craft powerful new weapons, armor, items and food using raw materials you find throughout the castle. On the one hand, this means you often have something to show for the times you get lost or have to backtrack through the castle. On the other, it feels

I read the first few paragraphs before it seemed to be abundantly clear that you have an axe to grind with this type of game and should not be the one reviewing it.  I stopped reading there.

I didn’t back it, partially because of that fear (I also just don’t really do much with Kickstarter). As soon as it hit, though, I picked it up, and I’ve been really happy since.

My brother and I swear by this. The moment you get the double-jump in most Metroidvania-style platformers is basically the moment the game takes off (just got it in Bloodstained myself). The trick to the game design is spacing the platforming out enough so that most jumps feel good with a single jump (if they’re

Rewind and search again.

It’s shallow in that ActRaiser had two modes of play, while the sequel had one.

uhhh, theres already kimono branded shapewear...

I’m here, just happy these characters look human.

Those few seconds you win are absolutely worth it if your bus or train is leaving in a few seconds. As someone who commutes via public transportation frequently, I dunno how many times I JUST made a bus or a train after rushing up or down an escalator. And I would’ve thought escalators were made for the disabled

That’s because you're an obnoxious tool inept at walking a flight of steps, and your autistic nature means you've got a tiny hard-on for thinking God appointed you to dictate the flow in public transit.

I’m assuming that these enemies came about as the result of the “Unleash the hounds of hell” backer tiers, where the devs would turn a pet (or animal of your choice) into an in-game enemy.

Not hard to make these very quick if you know how to use the software your using. Also those where probably modeled in 5 mins but I doubt they where textured/applied color shades within those 5 mins.

Its a Wee Wii

A shitton of super meat boy later on, but it’s technically optional if you are ok with getting a crappier ending. And to be honest I’d recommend skipping that portion if you’re the kind of person who really struggles with meat boy style platformers. I am and I beat my head against the wall until I eventually cleared

Still can’t get into the art direction for this game. It looks bland and unoriginal to me

I think I figured out why that art-style rubs me the wrong way.

My only disappointment so far is how the texts of the acorn and the pice of power still repeats every time. I think that was my only annoyance with the original.
