Strongly disliked Samus Returns.  Vastly preferred AM2R.

Ah, another remake?  I wouldn’t mind that.  Though hopefully sans the gameplay changes that MercurySteam put in Samus Returns.  Personally was not a fan.

More optimized performance would be grand.

Because it started development at Bandai Namco, but it was only announced in January of this year that they scrapped it and started it over with Retro Studios, who did the original three games.

I still love the game, but I agree with this. The nice thing about this being a direct sequel though, is that it gives them a nice way to include the physics-based powers of BotW without trying to force them into another world.

No one will probably read this but I must say that I was impressed with how awful that Contra game looked. Muddy textures and giant pixels!

Way too soon for Metroid, considering they just restarted it fairly recently.

I mean, that brief trailer looked pretty dungeony, so I’m optimistic they’ll be making improvements.

I think this is a cute idea. I also think Devolver’s E3 streams are always a breath of fresh air over the usual press conferences. I’m also nearly 40.

I vastly prefer the original voices, despite my introduction to the series being the dub. I actually like Goku sounding innocent and childlike, and I can’t help feeling like most of the English voices sound really cheesy.

Exactly this. If it were all Mario characters, using shells and other classic items I would be all over it. Just can’t get into Rabbids and laser guns.

Curious what the overlap is between these guys and people that get their neutered pets prosthetic testicle implants.

This may be the first time I’ve heard praise for the human drama in Godzilla 2014, other than for Watanabe and Cranston’s small parts.

Agreed. It gets a lot of flak for focusing too much on the humans at the expense of the monsters, but that’s pretty par for the course in Godzilla films.  I do think the couple bait-and-switch moments where it intentionally didn’t show the action were a bit annoying, but overall it was good.

Neural net upscaling is much more exciting for 2D graphics, imo:

Good night? Hope you had someone nearby to wake you up.

Do you have the resources to go about getting Michael Phelps to do this?  His arms are basically the same length as his legs, so I think he could set some new records as a quadruped.

Going along with it and aiding the government in recategorizing a press outlet could set a disastrous precedent for the first amendment.

Citation needed.

This may be nostalgia goggles, I think how PVP was handled in classic was great. Before the Honor system and PVP-specific gear, the only people who engaged in it were the ones who wanted to purely for the enjoyment (though I was on an RPG server, so mileage may vary). Also, the fact that dungeon loot was also PVP loot
