This seems like an excellent plan, if the goal is to trigger a WMATA driver wildcat strike or sickout. Which would be a GREAT way to prevent to these dirtbags converging on DC.

I played co-ed ultimate in two different leagues for years. Seven on a side, 5 men and 2 women. If we had 7 men and 8 women show up on a team, my male teammates would pitch a period fit if we asked to play 4-3 or 4-4 instead of 5-2. Women tended to drop out because they were spending up to 2 hours in the car to play 4

I’ve read more about duck boats. Safety addendum: don’t ever get on one of those things. If any good comes of this, it will be regulation of these death traps.

Every boat you’re on, assess for yourself how you get off. Where are the exits and life jackets? How do the windows and doors work? What’s the safest path to shore? If you’re on a plane, listen to the safety briefing, look and around and assess which exit is closest, count the number of rows between you and the exits

Jacqueline Kennedy wore it to the first state dinner, and it’s in the Smithsonian.)(

She’s been channeling Jacqueline Kennedy for awhile.

Thanks for writing this. I too have been perplexed by Musk’s actions and found his criticism of Osatanakorn spiteful and petulant. A couple of points that warrant emphasis:

This story is unimpeachably tragic... but also, look at the face of that gorgeous child!

Putting a baby in a pool without a swim diaper is super dumb and super gross and totally indefensible.

Out of curiosity, how do you think this should have been handled? Do you genuinely believe that a person’s entire career ought to be ended (academia works a little differently than other professions, so this would be the likely outcome of getting fired) because of something they did when they were 12 years old in

Tom Arnold is taking advantage of public interest in the so-called “pee tapes.” But what he’s probably referring to are outtakes from “The Apprentice,” on which Arnold appeared. Arnold discussed this during the election, that Trump was likely caught on tape using racial slurs and that executive Mark Burnett was

The shop owner is offering a master class in faux deference and trolling, and the customer knows it. Every time the owner refuses to take the customer’s bait, the customer intensifies her attack. Eventually the customer leaves in disgrace, having failed to achieve her objectives.

Setting aside the racial implications, that’s just mean. How did they manage to assemble a jury of nothing but mean people?

This post is moronic.

Setting aside the virulent racism that undergirds the whole encounter, I wonder what role posturing among and between police officers played in this encounter. The original cop called for backup, and somehow 150 police cars arrive. (What is going on in Milwaukee that so many cops have nothing else to do?) Cop #1

I watched it too, the whole thing. Not only was there no wrong doing on the trooper’s part, but he was unfailingly polite and went out of his way to be decent to her. He allowed her to change her shoes for the field sobriety test, he allowed her to speak to her fiance at the scene to coordinate child care, he

That is a truly awesome photograph! Congratulations!
