Thanks for the giant picture.

Modern diesels are nothing like that. Some of the truck ones have a bit of clatter, but even those aren't as loud as they once were. Smaller diesels have nearly none of the sound.

You may not like where someone else chooses to live, but that does not give you the right to kill them. It is doing zero harm to you or your loved ones and someone living in a spot you don't like doesn't put you in danger of dying. So, what right do you have to tell them how to live their lives or to try to kill them?

What, you want "smaller than the size of a chicken"? Velociraptors were not actually all that big. The ones in the movie are Utahraptor-sized.

So we get a dinosaur and a half (are pterodactyls considered to be dinosaurs?) in the last 30 seconds of the trailer. Nice.

Mini is a brand name, not just a single model. They do, to their credit, make vehicles that are smaller overall than many other similar vehicles. Small hatchbacks (vs. a Golf, say) and their SUV is smaller than many other SUVs in that price range.

Took Mini long enough to (prepare to) build a four-door version of their standard MINI. I love the MINI but don't want a two-door car and don't want the bloated SUV. Now they're making something I'll actually consider rather than walk away from due to lack of one of my must-have features. They will, of course,

Hah, that always amused me because Corinth doesn't produce leather at all.

That and the US does sell its aircraft to other nations, although I'm not sure whether the A-10 was ever sold. The A-10 is still around and is a pretty amazing tank destroyer.

They're still made, but a lot harder to find because it's all about me-too MMOs and first-person shooters and crappy cell phone games these days. I still remember the days of my heart pounding as I tried to land my F-117 on a carrier. Yes, I know it never happened. Micro-Prose navalized the aircraft in their game to

What pains me is that he got his ass handed to him in court but the field was never rebuilt even though it was illegally destroyed. Why wasn't he ordered to restore it?

But still, how can you have more gear ratios than a CVT which, by nature, has an effectively infinite number of gear ratios within its operating range? That is the entire point of the CVT.

Not only are taxes higher in Europe but prices are also generally quoted in Europe with tax included. Here in the US, we're used to prices listed before tax. You cannot make that comparison in that simple a fashion.

That's not a canyon. That's the Corinth Canal. I was there several years ago while visiting family near Athens.

Then, maybe, they shouldn't commit any offenses that lead to loss of license, huh? Driving is not a right.

Right. So your response to someone you think you're bigger than on the internet is to personally insult them.

The copyright laws as they are right now are badly tilted in favor of copyright holders. For example, nothing has entered the US public domain since 1923. Culture has long depended on building on what came before, but as things stand now, even slight buildings on what came before, the same way things have been done

What do you mean by non-linear proportions? Do you mean changing the shape of the mirrors or their housings?

No, no, no.

That's trademark law, not copyright law.
