I absolutely love the thing. I'm very tempted by the 2015 R —- I've wanted a four-door AWD DSG Golf for a while — but finances may well not allow it. But I have a pretty awesome car already, and it's paid for, so I won't be heartbroken if I can't get the R.

I'm sorry... but if someone tells me what to drive and what not to, they can stick it. Especially if they're doing so after I've already left the job.

I don't think their cars are decades old, but I did drive past a dealer yesterday and found myself wondering when the last time was I'd seen one on the road.

It depends on the car and the person. I'm short, so I have no problem with sunroofs, but the tray the glass slides into does take an inch or two of headroom off that is a problem for some people.

Stories like these are why the VW dealer only got the mechanic's key (can't go faster than 30 mph) when I had them install an iPod/MDI adapter. That's all you need for moving the car into and out of the service bay and into the parking lot. If the techs want to play with turbos, they aren't going to mess up mine.

This conversation is proof of why people can't merge properly (collectively).

I drove a first-gen-new 300 as a rental in Canada — a new one with 500km on it that hadn't yet been flogged — and while the window were a little bit small due to the high beltline, I didn't feel like they were excessively so — and I'm short, so I tend to be a little sensitive to such things. It's a bigger car than

It often goes by which party holds the governorship of each state, or sometimes by which party has majorities in a given state's legislature.

I see this in the US, too, though.

... how did I lose the picture?

As for brown, I think that's an in thing these days, actually. I've seen it popping up on a good many vehicles, not just UPS trucks, and it looks surprisingly good.

I don't think it's related to liberalism, since in the US at least we speak of "blue states" (Democrat/liberal) and "red states" (Republican/conservative). Blue does have a political connotation, but I don't think I've ever seen it mentioned in relation to cars.

I don't think those look so bad either:

Oh

I'm waiting for plaid.

The only real complaint I have about it is that VW refuses to sell a wagon version. I've driven a service loaner new Passat (anti-VW people, sorry: it was due to routine maintenance, not something breaking) and it was fine, though I'd never buy one for the above reason. If VW ever fixes that, of course I'd put it on

And yet I'm pretty sure uric acid (which is the main ingredient in that additive) is actually yellow.

Not enough doors. Do not want.

Why not? The lack of a four-door true Mini was what was keeping me from considering these — and no, I don't consider the Mini SUV an option. If the US gets this, I'll definitely be putting it on my list.

I like the 300. A lot of people do. It's different and stands out from the sea of boring. I think the first-generation "new" 300 looked better than the 300 that's out now, too.
