As a Mexican-American, I hope to one day have a hero experience like this. The only thing that I can think to compare is watching Coco last year. Representation is a beautiful thing, and it does bring tears to your eyes when you see your people/culture on the big screen.
Loved it. My only small criticism was that the fight choreography at times was very bad, or at the very least the camera work for those scenes was often very choppy and sloppy...
