Recruiter called for my sons (17 and 18)... I did my time, and no fucking way will my kids enlist under this administration. I’ve talked to other fathers that are vets, and they have agreed. Granted, it isn’t like polled a bunch of guys, but the general consensus I get around the other vet-Dads is ‘Fuck No’.

Someone had a great comment on here about Horwood turning down the NSA job. It was something along the lines of “Why would someone who’s spent their entire working life in the service of the US suddenly want to start working for Russia?”

I still think this part of Trump’s plan to get Kushner killed so he can move in on Mrs. Kushner.

I did 9 years as a grunt (Kosovo, Afghanistan, Iraq) and this is the type of chickenhawk I always hated watching on TV talking about the wars I was fighting as if they knew shit about shit.

Afraid I can’t take credit, it’s a perfectly cromulent word.

I’m a veteran; I actually was in the Navy when the towers fell. I still clearly remember walking into the wardroom onboard my ship and asking what crazy movie everyone was watching, as I had just come off watch and found the entirety of the ship’s contingent of officers staring at the TV — Captain and XO included.

That’s a tricky question.

In broad political strokes I would say that roughly half the armed forces voted against Trump and roughly half voted against Clinton. (Nobody voted FOR anyone in this election.) The breakdown was largely generational; older vets and officers that had been around felt more uncomfortable with

Incredibly angry, thanks for asking!

These useless chucklefucks. Just look at this smarmy little dipshit.

The precedent boulder is rolling down the hill, conservatives. Get the fuck out of the way. Thanks.

Also, Star Trek where the blond girl gets neckid so she can change (despite the fact that those outfits look like they have layers and she should have a tank top at least under that star fleet dress.) That movie had a lot of problems but that scene was just stupid.

I obviously have never got within a monkey’s of film or even well-known theatre but I’ve done sex and rape scenes in plays, several times. Honestly, with a rape scene, it’s easier. It’s so black-and-white distressing that extra care is taken to be respectful and give personal space and in rehearsal get it over with as

Didn’t need to watch, recognized immediately from the still. Love that show SO. MUCH.

Are you part of the Semantic Lede Vanguard? Cuz you kinda seem like you are.

No way. Anya is far more intelligent and has much better interpersonal skills than Betsy DeVos. She’s like an unattractive and ineffective Glory.

My husband would get up from the sofa while reading Blackwater, and throw it in the freezer. He said it was terrifying.
