I ended up spending 70 bucks throughout a weekend stay at Phoenix

so three of us went with

but he thought it was a good idea to bring friends along

he was visiting a long-distance girlfriend

it was my friends' idea to make this trip anyway

I was just happy I didn't have to pay

fancy, but expensive

my friend decided to pay for us to stay at a Hilton hotel

we couldn't find a hotel to stay at for a while

arriving at Arizona was kind of a pain

the trip went more smoothly once we were on the more literally deserted part of the interstate

so I grabbed a big bottle of rootbeer and considered her my valentine

my friends were picking on me for being the only one out of us not having a 'valentine'

people going on dates and whatnot

because of traffic

which made the drive incredibly annoying at first

we actually went on our way there Valentines' Day evening

which is where I'm from
