Do you remember Saddam Hussein's Information Director declaring there were no American troops in Baghdad as visible American tanks blew shit up in the background?
I'm not sure why I just thought of him.

I hate the guy with a passion, but I know what you mean. It's an impossible job. How do you deliver messaging, when there literally is no coherent message. If you go by what indefensible thing the guy in charge said an hour ago, he might have already contradicted you five times before your finish your sentence. You

I don't know if the GOP has the level of organization anymore to be able to create daily talking points that will be followed by their whole party. Trump sure as hell couldn't do it. I think Hannity has just latched on to Trump as a substitute.

He was always a little special, since he was so transparently parroting the bulleted GOP talking points he got that morning for Ailes. There was little, if anything, added by him. It has to be hard for him with Ailes gone. Like a horse without a cowboy.

Absolutely! It's the nature of the party I think. It's easier for Republicans, because they are so inclined to the top-down, fall in line, good soldier mentality. If someone wins the nomination on their side, the party conforms to their ideology right away.

It's almost like these things affect people's lives!

It doesn't help that the party has no face right now. There's no one that people have a near-universal image of when they think of Democrats, so it's even harder to communicate what it stands for. I'm sure some think of Hillary, but that's really got to change soon.

When they had the election night graphics up on MSNBC for the GA special election, I seriously felt like I was having some kind of PTSD induced panic attack. I wish I was being dramatic…

I would really love it if that were true. The Dems seriously needed a kick in the ass to get them to have some sort of platform that people could understand and get really excited about. I'm hoping that the reason that hasn't appeared yet is because they're holding out for campaign season. That's what they're doing,

I just read he resigned because he disagrees with the decision to appoint Anthony Scaramucci as Communications Director.
After all the orders he's followed that have destroyed what little credibility this guy's ever had, turning him into a international joke, he resigns…on principle? I'm so confused.

Like a lot of progressives, I was so excited for election night, when right wing assholes would finally feel the humiliating, painful justice of what they had created pulling them to the bottom of the ocean forever.
Oh well. Some other time I guess…

To be honest, I thought he was gone weeks ago. So hard to keep up with the news these days…

Written and Directed by Michael O'Donoghue

It's fine as long as your version has According to John existing. Now that would have been an alright sitcom.

The timeline with Christopher Walken as Han Solo is pretty bitchin.

Well, you can get a pretty good deal on the LaserDiscs that Goodwill mistakenly puts in with their Mantovani LP's, so who's laughing now?

What crazy is that was about a decade before they really took off. I was amazed when I started seeing LaserDiscs in Fred Meyer in the 90's because my dad had given his away after about a year of not finding any movies for it.

"What if" questions have always been a shortcut for writers to get some ideas flowing. I think the problem is when the entire premise is a giant neon "What if" sign.

I do now! I had totally forgotten that. Right when they escaped the Death Star if I remember right.

My dad had a LaserDisc player in the 80's. The only movies he had for it were Star Wars and 1942. Can you guess which of those 8-year-old me watched 600 times?
