I kinda agree with S Jackson here. The prequels had their flaws, but compared to the gravitas he swaggered in the republic era, the Skywalker's grandkids fight looked like a toddler squabble.
I think Snakes on a Plane is a great movie. It delivered on it’s name and premise.
I get why Lucas might be annoyed at how the new movie is being received. Star Wars is his legacy for better or worse. And it may be he has sellers remorse after seeing how much more loved the new movie is over the prequels. As an artist and filmmaker, even with all the money he got, that has to sting a bit. NOBODY LIKED YOUR PREQUELS, GEORGE. Has nobody told him this? Nobody? Is he in complete denial?
Also how the sun fades just as he makes his decision. Obvious but nicely done.
Yeah, loved how Han called him “Big Deal”most of the time...and yeah the “That’s not how the Force works” moment got HUGE laughs in our theatre.
Heh. That was fun, too.
I think my fave humor moment was Han nodding to behind Finn and Finn was like “What? What’s this? *makes chin movement* Why are you doing that?”
So Rey: Luke’s daughter? It seems obvious, but who else could she be related to. They made it obvious that she has force parentage.
