“the editorial core of the site has been actively alienated from their jobs, and are taking most of the good freelancers with them.”

Hi, please read my post in full next time, where I explicitly state that he’s still outright in the wrong because, even if there was some issue getting in the way of him appearing on time, he was still in the wrong for not addressing the issues, so that you don’t come off like a petty little asshole.

She specifically asked for a woman to protect her from Tom Hardy?

Can’t wait for Recognition to jump on here and remind us that Ansari must still wear the crimson hash tag of “Me Too” forever more.

Of all the annoying traits displayed by progressives (Disclaimer: I am one) in their never-ending quest to shoot themselves in the foot, none are quite so annoying as these f**king word games.

People have a knee jerk reaction to facing our history because ‘whiteness’ and ‘white supremacy’ are used interchangeably with ‘white people’ for a large portion of those who use the terminology.  It boils down to expecting different rules to apply to individuals based solely on race. Ironic eh?

I think this observation says more about your personal experiences around the time Oasis were popular than what they actually represented. Yes, they fine-tuned their appeal by pretending to be more stupid than they were, but their audience was wide and varied and went way beyond young, working-class men and “lads”.

No. Just the latter. This “slavery was a choice” MAGA hat-wearing “I’m a let you finish” moron is about as far as anyone can be from genius. Unless “stable genius” is your yardstick.

Exorcist 2 is one of my favorite movies because it cured my lifelong fear of the original Exorcist. Now I can just think “Pazouzou,” and that creepy pale devil-face becomes appropriately silly.

“Genre hopping" all the way from action-comedy to... Action-comedy.

I mean, he was the studio’s seventh or eighth choice to direct (and only chosen because he was Italian and the producers thought that might lend the film some authenticity... they also knew he’d work for cheap) and he turned them down because he hated the book, only agreeing to direct it after looking at his finances

And nobody recorded it? Hmm.

Nope, I see exactly what he’s saying and he’s both factually wrong and wrong in a ‘Let people like things!’ sense.

Ah yes because the only way one can find a Marvel movie more entertaining than The Godfather is if they’re an ‘uneducated dullard’, riiight.

You’re brain is very wrong, and contradicting top medical experts, if it believes that testing (using a test that has a very high false negative rate) is an adequate substitutions for vaccination and herd immunity. Your brain is wrong if it thinks that the health and lives of the immunocompromised of which there are

You’re shrugging off the very real consequences, including death, as a something that the immunocomprimised should just accept, because hey, life already tough for them, so whats a little more? It’s callous, ableist and wrong.

We need herd immunity. You’re not immunocompromised and feel very, very comfortable throwing everyone who is straight under the bus.

but they might get a more virulent version of Omicron in a group of unvaccinated people. so just make everyone attending be vaccinated, it’s just decent.

it’s less virulent transmitting vaccinated to vaccinated person, if you have a bunch of unvaccinated people giving it to each other in an event like this, and they spread it to someone immunocompromised who is vaccinated then it is much more dangerous for that person. So no, this is a communal effort, it’s not an any

It makes sense why The Academy might do this
