Find a friend with Starz and offer to bring the whiskey

My friend can't stand Frank. I of course am team Jamie all the way :)

My mother loved Capn Crunch and would hide it so no one else would eat it. She would eat it while she watched tv after my brother and I went to bed. I never could find where she stashed it despite employing my best sneaky search skills

No, he won't be forgotten. She is very torn by her love for both men. don't know how the series will deal with her relationship to Frank, but certainly in the 1st book he is much on her mind. It's a dilemma for Claire, to love 2 men

Not a Dr. Who watcher, but one of my friends that watched with me is & immediately said "Tardis!"

Just curious, how are the accents atrocious if the most of the actors voicing said accents are actually Scots?

Watch Deadwood

This is absolutley the vaguest of spoilers: Even in the books Frank is a sweet guy, Claire is very torn by her love for both men. But I think once you see more of Jamie you will see why his character is so special. I don't know how much the series will show us of Frank, in the 1st 2 books Frank is more of a presence

Watched the ep with a group of friends, we loved it. One of my friends mentioned that her least favortie part of the book was the beginning because it moved slowly (plus she hates Frank) I guess I have to agree. The book really started to get good after Claire goes through the stones. The 1st part of the book,as is

2nd book. and he's not treated very sympathetically either.

We wouldn't be such a martial culture if the politicians who like to wage these wars had served (I'm looking at you Dick Cheney and your 3 deferments) or their kids served (I'm looking at most of you Congress) I'm not some crazy knee-jerk liberal (although I do tend to vote that way) I served 13 years in the Army and

That movie scared the crap out of me when I was a little kid. After seeing it I couldn't get to sleep and refused to watch any scary movies until I was an adult. Those giant grasshoppers.

I just loved his wicked smile in that last scene, it was even better than his tirade which also awesome.

I really liked this ep - I thought it was really tense - I couldn't multi-task while watching this one! That scene with Arkady and Gaad, as others have said, was awesome. Joh-Boy really had his game on. Larrick - last week I knew he was stone cold badass by the way he killed that Nicaraguan girl, that scene gave me

I sheepishly admit to buying it iTunes last night.

I was issued a few sets for Bright Star. I think we deployed to Egypt in '81. We had a peackeeping force in the Sinai in the 80's and those guys wore DCU's as well. We all thought the boonie hats were super cool. Of course when I deployed for Desert Sheild/Desert Storm I was issued DCU's as part of my TA-50.

Great episode, very intense. But dammit, for a show that gets so much right about the 80's the SEALS wearing desert camouflage in Central America was just dumb. No one wore those uniforms except on special deployments, where you know, it was desert not jungle.

Pete from Enlisted (RIP Enlisted, Fox sucks) The best drinking times I ever had were in the Army. Nothing beats sharing war stories and beer with people you have endured hardship with and laughing at those hardships. I think I would enjoy knocking back a few cold ones with him. Knocking boots wouldn't be bad either ;)

Hank Steuver at the Wash. Post actually gave this show a good review (he hates everything)- he said he saw 6 eps. I'm going to give it a try. I only watch 2 CW shows - Arrow (great show) & Supernatural (guilty pleasure ) Here's the WaPo review http://www.washingtonpost.c…

Like Firefly did?
